One day, after Chang Ting finished reading a novel about the end of the world, he noticed that the events from the book were happening in real life. Buildings mysteriously vanished, and monsters appeared at specific times and places, just like in the novel. Chang Ting realized that to survive, he needed the special abilities described in the book. Using his knowledge of the story, he waited where a Level One Abyss Monster would show up and gained his special abilities, becoming one of the first people able to fight back. As the apocalyptic events continued, the secrets behind the Abyss Monsters and their origins were about to be revealed.
